  *                      with a Storage Class Memory (SCM)       *
  *                      overflow area provided by the flash     *
  *                      express feature, may result in the      *
  *                      queue manager using the structure       *
  *                      to abend 5C6-00C51054.                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Using SCM offloading on a coupling facility structure may result
  in the structure being dynamically altered. When the queue
  manager attempts to connect to the structure during the coupling
  facility alter processing, the connect call will fail with
  reason code IXLRSNCODESTRALTERRESTRICT. This is not handled
  correctly by the queue manager, resulting in the abend
  5C6-00C51054.
  

Problem conclusion

• The connection processing has been altered to correctly handle
  the new XCF reason code IXLRSNCODESTRALTERRESTRICT. The queue
  manager will no longer abend, and the connection to the affected
  coupling facility structure will be retried.
