Error description

• published metric extract for an Oracle metric store fails with
  the following error??DIS-ERR-3115 The task failed. DIS-RUN-3140
  Step 'Import data from the data sources into the staging area'
  execution failed in package????In the metricmaintenance extract
  log we find??PD-MD-0107 The following error occurred while
  calling the stored procedure 'PD_GETDISPLAYNAME'. RQP-DEF-0177
  An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlUpdateAttach'
  status='-9'. UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred
  during the operation "update attach". ORA-01456: may not perform
  insert/delete/update operation inside a READ ONLY transaction
  ORA-06512: at "MS_package.SET_SESSION", line 105 ORA-06512: at
  line 1????For 10.2.1 FP1 with hotfix
  CMMSRVR-AW64-ML-RTM-10.2.5000.102-0 applied to both the metric
  server and metric designer installs.??This fix was for a similar
  error for reports sourcing a metric package but does not address
  this behavior??
  

Local fix

• Execute the extract to flat files in metric designer and then im
  port the flat files to metric studio from the deployment folder
  using metric maintenance
