• The following statement is found in the TM1 Install and Config
  guide included in the BI 1nfocenter.??Note: Cognos BI
  installations on UNIX systems already include the required files
  and do not require any additional Cognos TM1 installation

  statement is incorrect. The TM1_PATH variable pointing to the
  Cognos BI bin64 directory is required to use TM1 as a data
  source in BI on Linux or UNIX. This variable is not just
  required for Data Manager or the TM1 Package Connector
