Error description

• The DB2 Administration for z/OS Online Reorg Mapping Table Panel
  ADB2USOO does not allow the Shrlevel field to be modified and
  generates error message Enter required field when the field
  cannot be edited.
  

Local fix

• From Panel ADB2US modify the Online Reorg Options:
  Review/change options  . . . . . YES
  Enter Option OO for Online Reorg and modify Shrlevel Change
  

Problem summary

  *                      field is locked for input, as a         *
  *                      result, DB2 Admin Tool does not         *
  *                      generate the REORG JCL.                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When field 'Review/change options' on panel ADB2US 'Table
  Space Utilities' is set to NO, and the user types 'U.OO' line
  command on a table space on panel ADB21S 'Table Space', panel
  ADB2USOO 'Online Reorg Mapping Table' does not allow the user
  to enter a value into the 'SHRLEVEL' field, and DB2 Admin does
  not generate the REORG JCL.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.
