PI12092: AUTOSAVE OF AN ECLIPSE WORKSPACE LEADS TO THE ERROR 'INCORRECT PARAMETER'

Error description

• Storing an Eclipse workspace in a IBM Ratonal ClearCase dynamic
  view can lead to errors.
  Eclipse will not be able to write the workspace to the dynamic
  view.
  
  Storing an Eclipse Workspace within a dynamic views leads to
  this error:
  Could not save master table to file
  'Z:\data\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources
  \.safetable\org.eclipse.core.resources'.
  The parameter is incorrect
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  - Open Eclipse and create a new workspace in a VOB in a dynamic
  view
  - Error will be seen during opening of the workspace
  or
  - Select an existing workspace, that is located as view private
  directory in a dynamic view
  - Error will be seen during AutoSave or Close of the workspace
  
  Workaround:
  Save the Eclipse Workspace directory to local disk or use a
  web/snapshot view
