Error description

  • The EmailPlus Site Configuration record is set with different
values for the 'Reply to Address' and 'From Address'.

User receives an email from ClearQuest EmailPlus package and
clicking on the 'Reply' button to respond to the received email,
the reply is sent to the e-mail address that has been set as
'SMTP From Address' in the EmailPlusSiteConfig record instead of
the address set as 'SMTP Reply to Address'.

If the transport method is set as SMTP Direct, the 'Reply to
Address' works as expected. This problem occurs in both
EmailPlus 2.1 and 2.2'.

Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.0.11 and 8.0.1.4.
ClearQuest EmailRelay service (SMPT and PostOffice Relay) now
honors the "SMTP Reply to Address" setting in the
EmailPlusSiteConfig record.  Clicking on the "Reply to" button
results in an e-mail being sent to the addresses in the "SMTP
Reply to Address" setting.
