Local fix
The "INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY TO LSTAT" warnings caused by attempts to access templates/servertypes/NODE_AGENT/servertype-metadata.xml do not cause any funcational issues and can be ignored. Currently there is no servertype-metadata.xml template file related to nodeagent process types and the absence of the file is being handled correctly.
Problem summary

Currently there * * is * * no servertype-metadata.xml template file * * related to nodeagent agent processes and * * the * * absence of the file is being handled * * correctly. * **************************************************************** During nodeagent start-up on z/OS the job logs may contain "INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY TO LSTAT" warnings caused by attempts to access templates/servertypes/NODE_AGENT/servertype-metadata.xml which are output by the Operating System. These warnings do not cause any functional issues because the absence of this file is handled correctly and currently there is no servertype-metadata.xml template file related to nodeagent process types.
Problem conclusion
The calling code has been altered such that it no longer attempts to access servertype-metadata.xml template files related to nodeagent process types. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.2.
