APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IMS PA keeps quick reference pointers to facilitate retrieving
  the last-used transaction entry, including its associated
  responses. In the case where a transaction abends and has
  associated output messages which are released the queue entry
  for the Response is deleted but the quick reference pointer in
  the Transaction entry is not reset. If the IMS PA storage
  handler physically frees the associated storage then any further
  attempt to use the quick reference pointer will result in an
  ABENDS0C4.                                                  S0C4
  
  Note: This issue is the same as PM49534 however there was a
  different cause in that case, but it has the same result.
