  restarting an Analyze job.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
  *                 z/OS who use the Change Management (CM)      *
  *                 function to analyze a change and try to      *
  *                 resubmit the generated analyze job JCL       *
  *                 for restart.                                 *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a user analyze a change, the       *
  *                      Analyze job is generated with a         *
  *                      comment 'FOR RESTART, RESUBMIT THE      *
  *                      ENTIRE JOB', but an error is observed   *
  *                      after resubmitting the analyze job      *
  *                      with the following message:             *

  *                      IGD17054I DATA SET NOT FOUND            *
  *                      FOR DELETE/RENAME ON VOLUME             *
  *                      >volume_name<                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  Data set checking is performed during the submission of the
  analyze job to determine the correct DISP attribute of the
  datasets for the analysis.  If the user failed to restart the
  job by resubmitting the analyze job, they may need to
  regenerate the job and submit the job again for restart.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved. The comment 'FOR RESTART, RESUBMIT
  THE ENTIRE JOB' has been changed to 'FOR RESTART, RESUBMIT THE
  ENTIRE JOB.  IF THE RESTART DOES NOT WORK, CONSIDER
  REGENERATING THE ENTIRE JOB AND SUBMIT AGAIN.'.
