APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ASF V3R4, utilities FSNBTCH or FSNCEXP are not filling BLRR
  records to the maximum possible extent.
  Example: BLRR data fitting into a single 8K-BLRR-record are
  written into two or more BLRR records.

  *                      FSNBTCHC, FSNBTCHI, FSNBTCHN, FSNBTC2I, *
  *                      FSNBTDHC, or FSNBTDHN, the resulting    *
  *                      BLRR records may happen to be much      *
  *                      shorter than the possible maximum       *
  *                      length.                                 *
  *                      The issue may occur if the document to  *
  *                      be processed contains paragraphs        *
  *                      holding parameters with lengthy         *
  *                      descriptions (prompt text).             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When running one of the ASF utilities FSNBTCHC, FSNBTCHI,
  FSNBTCHN, FSNBTC2I, FSNBTDHC, or FSNBTDHN, the resulting
  BLRR records may happen to be much shorter than the possible
  maximum length.
  The issue may occur if the document to be processed contains
  paragraphs holding parameters with lengthy descriptions
  (prompt text).
  

Problem conclusion

• Module FSNBXCL has been adapted accordingly.
