• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS created invalid REBIND
  syntax when processing packages bound in a prior release
  due to trailing blanks in the package name.
  For example:
  REBIND PACKAGE(yyy.zzzzzz  .(nnnnnnnnnnnn))
  DSNT238I  -VD99 REBIND ERROR
             USING COJ AUTHORITY
             PACKAGE = xxxxxx.yyy.zzzzzz.()
             DOES NOT EXIST
  DSNT233I  -VD99 UNSUCCESSFUL REBIND FOR
             PACKAGE = xxxxxxxx.yyy.zzzzzz.()
  

Local fix

• Manually edit the syntax to remove the spaces
