PI07601: ABENDU3419 AFTER HPSYSGEN AND NO IMS ROUTE CODES DEFINED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABENDU3419 at V13 IMS startup after HPSysgen is done and no
  route codes are defined in IMS.  DFSRCTEx is missing from the
  active MODBLKS.

  The IMS system has been defined without FP routing codes. In
  IMSV12 and up, the resulting DFSRCTEx in the MODBLKS data set
  contains only the IMS created 'dummy' routing code. The output
  of the HPsysgen VERIFY job shows zero RTCODES in message
  IOH32431:
  
  IOH3243I NUMBER OF DEFINED RTCODES  0
  
  When the HPsysgen INSTALL is then run, the output omits the
  DFSRCTEx module, and it is NOT copied into the new active
  MODBLKS library. When the IMS is then coldstarted, the
  ABENDU3419 is then seen.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been modified to copy DFSRCTEx member even if only a
  "dummy" is seen.
  
  The HPSysgen INSTALL output now shows the DFSRCTEx module was
  copied into the new active MODBLKS dataset.
