• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• The command 'cleartool lsproject -invob \projects'
  lists 16 projects and then
  cleartool: Error: Database identifier (dbid) not found in
  database: \projects
  if the UCM project VOB (\projects)
         1. Has been reformatted to schema 80
         2. Is Feature level 6 or LOWER
         3. Contains more than 16 UCM projects
  

Local fix

• 1. Raise the Feature Level to 7 or 8
   OR
  2. reformatvob -schema 54
   OR
  3. scripted workaround:
    The following two commands give the same output, in an
  unreplicated VOB, except that the second is not subject to the
  defect
      > cleartool lsproject -invob \projects
      > cleartool lsmaster -kind project -fmt "%n\n"

Problem conclusion

• This problem only happens on specific schema 80 FL5 pvob. An
  upgrade to higher feature level resolved the problem.
