APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The iPad screen turns black during the download and extract
  phases of a direct update.  The update process itself is
  successful.

Problem conclusion

• The code was fixed so that the screen is correct during the
  Direct Update process.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fixpack 6.1.0.1.
