PI07108: TCZ DISCOVER EXEC UNABLE TO HANDLE LONGER MENU OPTION ISPF STATE MENTS RESULTS IN BLANK 'ISPF STATEMENT' FIELD ON PANEL CCQPPRD

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' DISCOVER EXEC executed as
  part of the Tools Customizer for z/OS install process is unable
  to process longer ISPF COMMAND strings resulting in the field
  'ISPF statement' on panel CCQPPRD 'Product Parameters' being
  blank.

  *                      process results in truncation of the    *
  *                      values displayed on the panels.         *

  The 'ISPF statement' input field on panel CCQPPD 'Product
  Parameters' and CCQPDB2 'DB2 Parameters' panel only allows
  72 characters so the DISCOVER process results in truncation
  of the values displayed on the panels.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.
  The input field has been increased to allow 256 characters.
