Error description

  • The cust reported the following error:
I ran CSQUTIL to issue a couple of SET CHLAUTH commands. It
seems that the commands failed due to an MQRC 2085 on queue
SYSTEM.ADMIN.CONFIG.EVENT. The following error was received:
    .
CSQM056E ;QT99 CSQMSCA MQOPEN failed for queue
    SYSTEM.ADMIN.CONFIG.EVENT, MQRC=2085
    .
The error occurs because CSQMOPNW sets MQOD.ObjectQMgrName to
that of the local queue-manager, so queue-name resolution won't
try and use a cluster queue.

    * it has been defined as a cluster queue. *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
Configuration event generation (CONFIGEV) has been turned on
    for a qmgr.
On that qmgr the SYSTEM.ADMIN.CONFIG.EVENT is not defined as
a local queue, but as a cluster queue.
When a SET CHLAUTH command is issued, it fails with RC2085
MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME. The module CSQMOPNW is only
attempting an open for a local queue.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQMOPNW has been altered to find a cluster as well as a local
    definition of a queue.
