Error description

  • Summary:
The shortcut Ctrl+F does not work for a Search Window in Eclipse
    Rhapsody Perspective

    Description:
The shortcuts for menu commands such as Search do not seem to
work when Eclipse Rhapsody Integration is used. In Standalone
Rhapsody it works, but Unfortunately, In Eclipse
platform it does not. It is interesting to note that No
Shortcuts work when the Browser is highlighted.

This can be classified as a Defect because the Menu options
display that Ctrl+F can be used by providing an option like
    'Search (Ctrl+F)' in the Menubar.

The shortcut Ctrl+F does not work for a Search Window in
    Eclipse Rhapsody Perspective

Problem conclusion

  • Ctrl+H opens standard Eclipse-based Search dialog while
Ctrl+F opens Rhapsody advanced Search dialog. Both shortcuts
are context dependent: if Rhapsody browser focus is set on
any element in the model (package, class, etc) opened dialog
is automatically set to this element.
