PI05750: OFFLOAD TO TAPE CAUSES VTOC CONTENTION

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When offloading a system level backup through DB2 Recovery
  Expert to tape it is causing VTOC contention.  If there could be
  some way to specify the CONCURRENT COPY keyword during the tape
  offload process that would alleviate the contention.
