Error description

• When integrating Cadence Virtuoso and IBM Rational ClearCase, if
  a Workarea manager (WAM) operation supporting comments is
  performed and provided with a comment containing the pattern
  '_.,' (an underscore followed by a single character and further
  followed by a comma), subsequent operations will report a syntax
  error in the Cadence WorkArea Manager (WAM).
  
  The Workarea Manager state will not be updated to reflect the
  ClearCase status although the ClearCase operation succeeded.
  

Local fix

• There is no current workaround to the issue short of monitoring
  operation comments.
