PH71987: JVMSERVER fails to enable when specifying PRINT_JVM_OPTIONS=TRUE 26/07/10 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying PH66032, JVMSERVERs with PRINT_JVM_OPTIONS=TRUE
  in their JVMPROFILE fail to enable. When attempting to be
  enabled, an 0C4 abend occurs and the following can be observed
  in the CICS job log:
  
  DFHSJ0216 A call to CELQPIPI with function code INIT_SUB has
  failed. (Return code - X'00000000' ).
  
  DFHSJ0210 IYCKZCEI An attempt to start a JVM for the JVMSERVER
  resource <JVMSERVER> has failed. Reason code:
  ENCLAVE_INIT_FAILED.
  
  This is caused by the following protection exception:
  
  CEE3204S The system detected a protection exception
  (System Completion Code=0C4). From entry point printHeader at
  compile unit offset +000000003457CE18 at entry offset
  +0000000000014960 at address 000000003457CE18.
  
  The CEEDUMP then demonstrates that an exception was thrown in
  printHeader:
  6     printHeader +0000E9B8     DFHSJSCL     Exception
  

Local fix

• Setting PRINT_JVM_OPTIONS=FALSE in the JVMPROFILE will
  circumvent the issue.

  When a JVMSERVER is attempted to be enabled with
  PRINT_JVM_OPTIONS=YES set in the JVMPROFILE, the JVMSERVER fails
  to enable and results in the following errors in the CICS job
  log:

  CICS has been updated to prevent the protection exception caused
  by setting PRINT_JVM_OPTIONS=YES to ensure the JVMSERVER can
  enable successfully.
