Problem summary

  • IMS SLDS dynamic allocation failure can cause SLDS data to be
not captured [PH71598]

Problem conclusion

  • If an error occurs during the dynamic allocation of an
IMS SLDS data set during the IMS Log Reader task (AUILxxxx)
the checkpoint for that cycle is erroneously updated with
the DSN of the failing SLDS, which will cause the data on
that SLDS to not be examined.
