PH71518: GEN WITH 'PHYSICAL PART ORDER' LEAVES TABLESPACE DATASETS UNDEFINED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When GEN generates DDL for tablespace with physical partition
  order using ADD PARTITION statements, tablespace is created with
  DEFINE NO.
  With this APAR GEN will issue a warning message that tablespace
  datasets will not be defined and generate a functional comment
  '--#ADMIN DEFINE DATASETS'.
  ADBTEP2 will be able to define datasets using DUMMY LOAD utility
  when the functional comment is processed.

  with DEFINE NO.
  With this APAR, GEN will issue a new warning message ADB1975W.
  This message warns that table space data sets will not be
  defined. GEN will also generate a functional comment
  '--#ADMIN DEFINE DATASETS TABLESPACE <tablespace name>'.
  ADBTEP2 will be able to define data sets using a DUMMY LOAD
  utility statement when the functional comment is processed.
