PH71271: ONLY THE LAST -XOPTIONSFILE= STATEMENT IN A JVM PROFILE IS PASSED TO THE JVM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A JVM profile is created for a JVM server which specifies
  multiple VM options files using multiple -Xoptionsfile=
  statements.
  
  However when CICS processes the JVM profile only the last
  -Xoptionsfile= in the JVM profile is passed to the JVM.

  A JVM profile is created which contains multiple entries for a
  given -X, -XX or -- option.
  
  However only the final value is passed to the JVM with a warning
  issued:
  
  @Warning: canonicalise_list() - Profile option ... is overridden
  by a later value
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated so that when a JVM profile is parsed all
  -X, -XX and -- entries are passed to the JVM.
