    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enables IMS Database Recovery *
    * Facility to specify the maximum number *
    * of address spaces for the IMS Index *
    * Builder that can be scheduled in *
    *                      parallel.                               *
    ****************************************************************
    Currently, the number of IMS Index Builder address spaces (IB-
    UAS) scheduled in parallel by a single DRF job is the smaller of
    the number specified by the SORTPARM(NUM(xx)) parameter and the
    number of databases requiring IB processing by that DRF job.
    Originally, SORTPARM(NUM(xx)) specified the maximum number of
    DRF subordinate address space (DRF SAS) to be started in
    parallel, but currently this number also controls the maximum
    number of IB-UAS that can be scheduled in parallel.

    In this APAR, DRF provides a new separate parameter "IBNUM" to
    specify the maximum number of address spaces for the IMS Index
    Builder (IB-UAS) or the IMS HALDB DFSPREC0 utility (PR-UAS)that
    can be scheduled in parallel from a single DRF job.
