Error description

• During a migration from CICS 5.6 to CICS TS 6.2, error
  message "+DFHAP0001 A14CPROD An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has
  occurred at offset
  X'00004B6A' in module DFHEIQST" was detected

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND S0C4 observed for INQUIRE         *
  *                      TERMINAL request of IP-ECI task.        *
  ****************************************************************
  EXEC CICS INQUIRE TERMINAL is issued by an IP-ECI program that
  is coming into CICS through a TCPIPSERVICE from a CTG client.
  The task ends with TERMIDERR and EIBRESP2 value as 1, indicating
  that the named terminal cannot be found.
  When the request is from external call interface, it points to
  IECCB(IP ECI Conversation Control Block) instead of TCTTE, and
  tries to search for IECCB address on TCTTE address chain. If not
  found then it correctly ends with TERMIDERR. However, an
  S0C4/AKEA may be observed in module DFHEIQST.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been changed to prevent the 0C4.
