    *                      Management Server for z/OS v1.2         *
    ****************************************************************
    Improvements and bug fixes, including:

    1. UMS-I-2 allow filtering of ums users from the user list
    2. DB2ZAUTMTL-I-66 Provide a mechanism in DB2 Admin foundation
to prevent it from attempting to auto discover the specified
       DB2 instances
    3. DB2AE-I-11 Extend the field for Temporary Dataset HLQ on the
       Subsystem Registration UI screen.
    4. Data set allocations for new SMPE data sets to be used in
       future releases of UMS
    5. Convert from error to warning when z/OSMF restfiles call
       fails during subsystem registration
    6. Use r_admin in the backend for the endpoints that refresh the
UMS list when the ESM is RACF
    7. Enhancement for IMS Administration Foundation:
       - One or more parameter marker characters "?" are supported
for IMS SQL statements that are used in the
    "Catalog query" dashboard
       - DDL view in DBD/PSB Map supports COMMENTS ON statements
       - The new IMS DBD XML attribute "isPuredDBCS" is supported
    8. The following issues in IMS Administration Foundation:
       - Characters that can be used for a RECON ID were not
strictly checked - both UI and API were fixed so that
the RECON ID specified can be used as a data set qualifier
       - The syntax checking for IMS SQL when both 'GROUP BY' and
'ORDER BY' are specified in an IMS SQL statement
       - Redundant blank lines are inserted between XML lines of
the XML view in DBD/PSB Map
       - New message number IZPMS0149E is assigned to report
an error in a configuration parameter in the UMS
         configuration member ZPIMSPM or IZPIMFPM
    9. The Application Registration dry run API previously ran in
synchronous mode, which could lead to timeouts when
processing applications with large numbers of objects or
complex dependency structures. To address this, the logic
has been updated to run asynchronously, eliminating
       potential timeout issues.

Additionally, we optimized the dry run implementation by
removing redundant and duplicate queries to further improve
        performance.
    10. Connections to Db2 from UMS were attempted using the unique
'name' of the subsystem and not the 'ssid' or default
'attach name'. This caused the connections to not be
be attempted due to invalid validation on name length.
    11. Previously, the Access Count column in the Tables tab sorted
values incorrectly by considering only the first digit of
each number. This issue has now been resolved, and the
column sorts accurately based on the full numeric value.
    12. Expanded menu on the left side automatically collapses again
if they click anywhere on some option on the screen.
    13. The UI shows "Failed to retrieve the DDL. Click view report
for details." The detail view reports a 500 Internal
Server Error. The log excerpt indicates a
NullPointerException in the code. Request URL shown in the
report points to a DDL service endpoint under ZLUX/UMS.
