Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Db2 Administration Tool for z/OS * * and Db2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enhances REBIND processing in * * Object Compare and AUTOREBIND * * processing in ADBTEP2. * * * **************************************************************** A new Object Compare reporting option 'REBIND report' is added to enable the generation of a new 'PACKAGE REBIND REPORT' section with information about generated REBIND commands. New values are added for the 'Run REBIND' Compare option: - R (Recommended): REBIND will be generated for packages that will be invalidated by changes, packages that need to be rebound to apply ALTER changes (VALID='A' in SYSPACKAGE), and packages that depend on a table when a new index is added. - RP (Recommended package level): same as R, but REBIND is not generated for invalidated packages with statement-level dependencies. - MP (Mandatory package level): same as existing option M, but REBIND is not generated for invalidated packages with statement-level dependencies. New values are added for the 'AUTOREBIND' ADBTEP2 option: - M (Mandatory): only invalidated packages are automatically rebound (existing 'YES' option also rebinds VALID='A' packages). - MP (Mandatory package level): same as M, but invalidated packages with statement-level dependencies are not rebound. - YP (YES package level): same as YES, but invalidated packages with statement-level dependencies are not rebound. - AP (ALL package level): same as ALL, but invalidated packages with statement-level dependencies are not rebound.
