Error description

  • There is a bug in the postinstaller that passes an unexpected
PATH variable to subprocesses.

On RedHat, it is likely that run-parts itself fails.

Problem conclusion


    

  • bin/postinst was corrected to not modify the PATH variable.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
