PH70098: LRIDISCONNECT IS CALLED WITH AN INVALID POINTER WHEN THE SOCKET IS DISCONNECTED AFTER THE LRI THREAD EXITS, CAUSING ABENDS WITH

APAR status

Error description

• LRIDisconnect is called with an invalid pointer when the socket
  is disconnected after the LRI thread exits, causing abends with
  system completion code 0C4 or 102
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• fnDeactivateStream calls LRIDisconnect with an invalid pointer
  when the socket is disconnected after the LRI thread exits,
  causing abends with system completion code 0C4 or 102.
  

Problem conclusion

• The main fix was to null out a reference to the memory and ECB
  that are being freed. In order to null out the reference, a new
  pointer had to be passed to the thread exit event processor.
  The "LRI stream is null in LRIDisconnect." message was removed
  since the expected null pointer is handled gracefully.
  A new message was added to report "Thread ended for stream ."
  The socket is closed when there is a read failure
