Error description

• When ACCTQ is enabled on an IMS bridge queue, SMF type 116
  accounting records show MQPUT operations to the bridge queue but
  show zero MQGET counts.

  *                      being successfully processed by IMS.    *

  The MQ IMS bridge retrieves messages from an IMS bridge queue
  internally. These internal MQGET operations are not recorded in
  SMF type 116 accounting data. Only MQ API operations performed
  by the application, such as the MQPUT to the bridge queue and
  the MQGET from the reply queue, produce SMF 116 accounting
  records.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IBM MQ documentation has been updated to clarify this
  behaviour. SMF type 116 accounting records are collected for
  application puts to the IMS bridge queue and application gets
  from the reply queue. Internal operations performed by the MQ
  IMS bridge are not recorded. If ACCTQ is enabled on an IMS
  bridge queue, zero MQGET counts in SMF 116 output is expected
  behaviour, even when messages are being successfully processed
  by IMS.
