**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, * * Version 2 Release 2 (FMID=H27P220) users * * who use the Catalog Manager utility. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The map function of the Catalog Manager * * fails with ABEND0C7 when it generates * * the PSB report for a PSB in the IMS * * catalog database and both of the * * following conditions are met: * * - PROCSEQ parameter is not specified. * * - SENSEG statements are defined in the * * different order from the referencing * * DBD SEGM statement. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR fixes the map function of the Catalog Manager utility not to fail when processing a PSB from the IMS catalog database which meets both of the following conditions: - PROCSEQ parameter is not specified. - SENSEG statements are defined in the different order from the referencing DBD SEGM statements. When processing a PSB, the Catalog Manager map function reads IMS catalog database to find the DBD SEGM statement which is referenced by the PSB SENSEG statements. The Catalog Manager reads DBD SEGM statements in the order defined in the DBD. The searching position in the IMS catalog database is not initialized for each SENSEG statement when PROCSEQ is not defined to the PSB. If SENSEG statements are defined in the different order from the referencing DBD SEGM statements and the position of the target SEGM statement has already been processed in the past, the Catalog Manager fails to find the SEGM statement and it will search out of the PSB. It causes an ABEND. The Catalog Manager is fixed to initialize searching position in the IMS catalog database even if PROCSEQ is not specified for the PSB. This APAR also fixes the map function of the Catalog Manager utility to correct the indent position of the Changed Data exit routine in the DBD report and the PSB report when the multiple exit routine names for the Data Capture exit routine are specified on a single SEGM statement. ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== IBM IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS V2R2 User's Guide (SC19-3979) Refer to topic "What's new in IMS Library Integrity Utilities" (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ims-liu/2.2 ?topic=overview-whats-new-in-ims-library-integrity-utilities) in IBM Documentation for doc changes associated with this APAR.
