Error description

  • The PTFs for the APARs OA66738 and OA67032 allows to log the
bypassing of RACF protection when VSAM datasets are open by a
program in supervisor state or key 0. When the capability is
enabled, any occurrence of a such a situation is reported by an
SMF80 record. As the Db2 HPU design requires to bypass RACF when
opening VSAM datasets (either the Db2 VSAM datasets or FlashCopy
datasets), a Db2 HPU run can trigger SMF80 records. As this is a
normal Db2 HPU behavior, Db2 HPU should set the ACBBYPSS flag
when opening a VSAM dataset to prevent SMF80 from being
    triggered.
