Error description

• When the IMS HP Image Copy is run with DEDBPC=(Y), the hash
  check process may terminate abnormally with S0C6.
  This abnormal termination can occur when the hash check process
  is being processed simultaneously by multiple tasks.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the IMS HP Image Copy is run with  *
  *                      DEDBPC=(Y), the hash check process may  *
  *                      terminate abnormally with S0C6 or       *
  *                      U4049.                                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR          *
  ****************************************************************
  When the hash check process writes to the MSGOUT DD
  simultaneously in multiple tasks, an incorrect work area address
  is returned from the PUT process due to an OS restriction.
  This causes the hash check process to fail to return to
  the correct caller after PUT, resulting in an abnormal
  termination of S0C6 or U4049.
  

Problem conclusion

• The hash check process has been modified to serialize PUT
  operation for MSGOUT, ensuring it can correctly return to
  the caller.
  As a result of this modification, the title line of MSGOUT will
  be output only once at the beginning.
