• IMS APAR PH40873 supports Logical DBD in the IMS directory. When
  some functions of IMS Library Integrity Utilities (LIU)
  processes Logical DBD in the IMS directory, LIU ends with 8.  So
  LIU will also support Logical DBD in the IMS directory.

  This APAR enhances the Catalog Manager utility and Library
  Integrity Utilities (LIU) under IMS Administration Tool to
  support logical DBD in the IMS directory which is supported by
  IMS APAR PH40873. After applying the PTF for IMS APAR PH40873,
  user can generate logical DBD in the IMS directory.
  
  The Catalog Manager utility validates, decodes and compares
  logical DBD in the IMS directory. It also generates maps of
  logical DBD in the IMS directory.
  
  Since GSAM and logical DBD do not exist in ACBLIB, the
  comparison feature has been modified to prevent warnings from
  being reported in both the Compare Summary report and return
  code.
  
  LIU under IMS Administration Tool also supports logical DBD in
  the IMS directory. The features of the IMS catalog space and
  DBD/PSB analysis and the object explorer support logical DBD in
  the IMS directory. For more information about these features,
  see the user's guide of IMS Administration Tool.
  
  This APAR also fixes LIU under IMS Administration Tool to
  decode DBLEVEL parameter in PSBGEN statement.
