  The associated stub program for the CALL to Java had a work data
  item defined in the incorrect data division section (linkage
  section instead of local-storage section).
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was updated to ensure that the work data item
  needed by the stub program used to facilitate calls from COBOL
  to Java with dynamic length PIC X/U arguments was defined in
  the correct data division section.
