APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When users attempt to access the  application details from the
    Runtime operation -> Application panel's collection form, they
    are unexpectedly redirected to the "All Applications" panel. An
    error message is displayed: "An unexpected error has occurred.
    Check the logs for details and contact IBM support."
    NOTE: The problem also exists for any tWAS app that has a name
    which includes the "-" dash character.

    When accessing application details from the Runtime Operation
    -> Application panel for applications with names containing
    hyphens (-), the system redirects to the All Applications
    panel and displays the following error message: "An unexpected
    error has occurred. Check the logs for details and contact IBM
    Support."
    

Problem conclusion

  • The issue in the Runtime Operation -> Application panel has
    been resolved. Users are now redirected to the correct
    application details panel when the application name contains
    hyphens (-).
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    8.5.5.29 and 9.0.5.25. For more information, see 'Recommended
