PH69204: Terminal signon incorrectly uses the QR TCB if change to L8 fails.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During signon with the CESL transaction, a call is made to RACF
  while on the RO TCB. RACF then makes a synchronous call to the
  MFA server which in turn sends a push notification to the mobile
  device of the user signing on. While the user is
  approving/denying this push notification, the RO TCB is hung and
  no other tasks can use it.

  *                      continues on the QR TCB.                *
  ****************************************************************
  A terminal user attempts to sign on to CICS. The signon is
  performed on an L8 TCB. If the change to the L8 failed then
  the signon processing incorrectly continued on the QR TCB.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHXSAD has been changed so that if the switch to an L8 TCB
  for terminal signon fails it will return immediately with a
  purged response if the task had been purged.  For any other
  failures the RO TCB will be used for signon.
