Error description

• When running a query with a pair-wise join, Abend04E RC00D3001A
  may occur in DSNXRPJP OFFSET04614 resulting in orphan threads.
  If all of the child tasks of the semi-joins of a pair-wise join
  are either completed, cancelled or terminated, the parent thread
  can remain suspended since there are no active child tasks left
  to awaken the parent task.  This can leave orphan tasks.

  An orphan uncommitted long running thread may occur when
  running a pair-wise join query. When the last pair-wise join
  semi-join leg is finished/cancelled/terminated, there could be
  a rare timing window that misses the chance to resume the
  parent thread. Therefore, the parent thread could be leftover
  as an orphan uncommitted thread.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 has been modified to seal the rare timing window of pair-
  wise join query.
