APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The S602-00000000 abend occurred in CSQ0BSTP while doing a
  cross-memory post of the G0BL.lAMSECB ECB. The abend occurred
  because the AMSM address space had already ended.
  
  Investigation has determined that the G0BL.fStopped flag wasn't
  set when AMSM went away due to changes introduced by APAR
  PH63803.

  *                      manager shutdown if a STOP QMGR         *
  *                      MODE(QUIESCE) is followed by STOP QMGR  *
  *                      MODE(FORCE) before shutdown has fully   *
  *                      completed.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The code which handles the AMS shutdown processing posts the
  AMSM address space with the same code used for abnormal
  terminations. AMS interprets that post code as such and skips
  setting AMS as stopped. In this situation, the queue manager
  does not acknowledge that AMS has stopped and, when the STOP
  QMGR MODE(FORCE) is issued, it attempts to post the AMS address
  space after it has already ended, which results in the abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been modified to correctly differentiate a normal
  shutdown from an abnormal termination, preventing a post to an
  already terminated AMSM address space and allowing the queue
  manager shutdown to complete cleanly.
