  Product administrators may wish to disable the IMS Problem
  Investigator extract facility for security and
  and compliance purposes.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IMS Problem Investigator extract facility can now be
  disabled if required. You can use the ALZUAUTH exit to
  restrict the EXTRACT function to authorized users. The
  restrictions will apply to both batch and dialog use of
  the EXTRACT command. Use this approach when you want to
  limit the use of the EXTRACT function to certain IMS
  Problem Investigator users to prevent IMS Problem
  Investigator being used to extract data from the log
  files. The exit is used to limit the access to the
  EXTRACT function to the supplied user IDs.
