Error description

• API requester requests were found to take much longer than
  expected to complete.

  During the invocation of an API requester, a DNS lookup was
  performed. In the case the DNS lookup did not complete in a
  timely fashion due to a bad TCP/IP configuration. The API
  requester was delayed for a considerable time before then
  continuing normally.
  

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

• z/OS Connect has been changed to remove the DNS lookup,
  preventing the reported delay.
  
  The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
  z/OS Connect EE V3.0.102.0 (PH70090).
