Error description

• The following abend happened:
  
  ABN=
  0C4-00000011,C=MQ900.930.CHIN,M=CSQXSUPR,LOC=CSQXSUPR.CSQXSCAN+o
  
  The 0C4 occurred in CSQXSCAN while the CHIN supervisor was
  trying to quiesce a SVRCONN channel as part of CHIN shutdown.
  The root cause is a timing window between a channel instance
  ending as part of the shutdown and the CHIN supervisor calling
  CSQXSCAN for the channel instance.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C4 occurs in CSQXSUPR.CSQXSCAN   *
  *                      during channel initiator shutdown.      *
  *                      Following the abend the channel         *
  *                      initiator shutdown hangs.               *
  ****************************************************************
  During channel initiator shutdown the supervisor task calls
  CSQXSCAN to interrupt channels so that they can detect the
  shutdown and terminate normally. If this takes place for a
  SVRCONN channel with multiple conversations, there is a timing
  window where an ending conversation invalidates a control block
  used by CSQXSCAN, leading to the reported abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQXSCAN is changed to no longer use the control block that was
  invalidated.
