APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • CICS 6.3 using WOLA load libraries from Liberty for z/OS causes
    ASRA abend when BBOC START_SRVR command issued to register CICS
    as a client to WOLA.
    
    The CICS  logs will show messages like this:
    
    DFHAP0707 IY3SZCNS An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has occurred in task
    related user exit program BBOATRUE.
    
    DFHAP0001 IY3SZCNS An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has occurred at
    offset X'FFFFFFFF' in module BBOATRUE.
    
    
    Other messages are
    
    TC03BBOC 20250930140919 Querying the size of the  transient
    data queue (TDQ) failed.  The response codes are: eibresp 44
    eibresp2
    
    TC03BBOC 20250930140919  1The  extra partition transient queue
    cannot log messages. The EIBRESP value is 44, and the EIBRESP2
    val
    
    TC03BBOC 20250930140919 ue is 0.0000048 WOLA TRACE 0: The
    current CICS level 0603 is not supported

    The current CICS level 0603 is not supported
    when connecting to CICS 6.3 using
    WebSphere Optimized local adapters.
    There is also an ABEND0C4/ABENDS0C4 in bboatrue.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Added support for CICS 6.3 to WebSphere Optimized Local
    Adapters
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
