APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• You see Invalid_length_on_getmain_for_CICS31_class_storage
  exception trace entries in your WUI region's internal trace
  table.  The RET address on the EIP ENTRY for the failing GETMAIN
  indicates the call came from EYU9XDJG + x'20A8'.  You may also
  notice that this happens after a GRAPHQL query which returns no
  records from your CICSplex, such as a query for a resource type
  that you do not have defined.
  
  The same result could occur if selection criteria caused the
  rejection of all existing resources.

  *                 server address spaces and SMSS address       *
  *                 spaces configured with CPSMCONN=SMSSJ should *
  *                 be restarted.                                *

  When using GraphQL to inquire on a resource for which an empty
  result set will be returned the WUI performs an EXEC CICS
  GETMAIN to hold the records to be returned. If no records will
  be returned the EXEC CICS GETMAIN has length=0 and fails,
  generating several trace entries.
  
  The query fails and no records are returned, which in this case
  is the correct answer. Nothing untoward is seen by the end user.
  

Problem conclusion

• The EYU9XDJG module has been updated to correctly handle the
  case where no records are found.
