APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A logical unload performed in SQL mode terminates abruptly with
an ABEND S017 with reason code 30 when zIIP processing is
enabled (the message INZU315I is displayed in the SYSPRINT) and
    the OUTEXIT clause is specified.

Note: The OUTEXIT statement is incompatible with SQL mode (DB2
FORCE or DB2 YES in unloads incompatible with native mode) and
is ignored, even when zIIP processing is not enabled (the
    message INZU489W will be displayed).

Local fix

  • 1) If the unload is incompatible with native mode, remove the
    OUTEXIT clause.

    2) Perform the unload in native mode (DB2 NO) in order to make
    use of the OUTEXIT clause
