PH68090: DFHUS0002 CODE(X'0306') DURING TERMINAL SIGNON WITH ACF2 OR TOP SECRET

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Signing on at a terminal with ACF2 or Top Secret as the security
  manager can result in a lock failure within the CICS user
  domain. This is reported as a DFHUS0002 message with
  code(x'0306') and a system dump is taken. The SIGNON command
  fails with an AEXZ abend.

  During a terminal signon CICS is incorrectly attempting to
  acquire the USADLOCK twice, leading to a lock error and
  DFHUSAD issuing message DFHUS0002 with code(x'0306') and
  capturing a system dump. The signon fails with an AEXZ abend.
  
  The problem only occurs when the external security manager
  (ESM) is ACF2 or Top Secret.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHUSAD has been updated to correctly manage acquiring the
  USADLOCK during terminal signons.
