Error description

  • User Impact: Users are unable to perform any other actions
until the synchronous "Save Trace" API successfully returns.
This creates unnecessary delays and a poor user experience,
    especially for large trace files.

Problem Description: The synchronous API blocks the UI until
trace download completes, including time for collecting,
compressing and transferring data. Large trace files
(especially IDAA traces) often exceed timeout limits, causing
failures. To resolve this, an asynchronous API was introduced,
enabling background processing and allowing users to continue
other tasks, thereby improving responsiveness and user
    experience.
