Whenever a Db2 accounting trace record is produced for work
performed by a thread, there is no indication in the
accounting trace record whether or not the client inbound
connection or an outbound connection to a remote location
is allocated as a TCP/IP SSL based secure connection.

Temporary fix

Comments

  • Db2 has been changed to indicate in the one or many QLACs
(accounting location statistics) produced for an accounting
trace instance whether or not a distributed inbound or
outbound TCP/IP connection was a TCP/IP secure connection.
In particular, the new field of the QLAC, QLAC_SECURE_CONN,
will be set to a 'Y' if the connection was a secure TCP/IP
connection. If the inbound or outbound connection is not
secure, then the field will be null. The QLAC_SECURE_CONN
field will not be maintained in an accounting rollup record.
