APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Build Configuration CLI session hangs if it is run when a Build
Configuration UI session is also open.

Log may include messages with text like "Login failed for user",
followed by a message including  "the database does not exist or
it cannot be accessed !" , followed by a message like
"Associating zOS"..."to the project".

Local fix

  • Closing the Build Configuration (gui) window before running the
Build Configuration CLI session can prevent the CLI session
hang.

Problem summary

  • Defect in the code that caused AD build configuration CLI
sessions not to properly initialize while UI session was active.

Problem conclusion

  • Defect's root cause isolated and fixed.

Temporary fix
