    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CWWKF0033E and CWWKF0044E Liberty       *
    * feature incompatibilities occur when *
    * attempting to enable a JVMSERVER at *
    * Java 17 with features such as *
    *                      springBoot-3.0 and servlet-3.1.         *
    ****************************************************************
    When AUTOCVT is enabled in a z/OS environment, various manifest
    files added by PH60795 are incorrectly tagged. This then means
    they cannot be read by CICS and the following errors may occur:

    CWWKF0033E: The singleton features servlet-6.0 and
    servlet-3.1 cannot be loaded at the same time.

    CWWKF0044E: The springBoot-3.0 and servlet-3.1 features cannot
    be loaded at the same time.

    com.ibm.cics.wlp.core.kernel-10.0.mf is also incorrectly tagged
    in all z/OS instances and so cannot be viewed without specifying
    UTF-8 manually.

Problem conclusion

  • UI98245 UO02225

    CICS has been updated to ensure the tagging for files added in
    PH60795 is handled.
